Volunteering With Us
Volunteering to work for Equustrong UK can have many benefits:
Volunteering can be a very rewarding experience as well as enhancing a CV when applying for employment or entry into higher education.
It provides additional manpower and skills which own staff may lack, for example in financial management and construction.
Through volunteering your actions help raise awareness of Equustrong UK’s work as well as funds for the programmes we run.
We are currently looking for volunteers who would be interested in:
- Helping with ridden sessions – walk beside our students to give support or lead a horse during sessions. Full training will be provided.
- Stable Buddies – Stable Buddies ensure that our horses are ready for their lessons and prepared for their riders! This is a great opportunity to work with the horses and enjoy having some “stable time”. Feeding, grooming and mucking are just some of the duties of Stable Buddies.
- Fundraising and Events – either helping out at events Equustrong UK organises or why not organise a fundraising event yourself in support of our work.
Volunteering gives you an opportunity to put your expertise and experience to the test, learn new skills, meet some great people, and help make a difference.
